Tentro Tech & Device Solutions

IT consultancy · Device supply · United Kingdom

Specified before it is supplied.

Tentro Tech and Device Solutions is a Rotherham company registered to do two things that the market usually keeps apart: advise on what technology you actually need, and then supply it. Most hardware resellers will happily quote for the list you hand them. Most IT consultancies will not touch procurement at all. We do both, and we write the specification down before a single item is ordered — so the recommendation can be checked against what arrives.

§ 00 — The proposition

The advice and the invoice come from the same desk, and we tell you which is which.

There is an obvious objection to a company that both recommends hardware and sells it, and we would rather answer it on the first screen than bury it.

Our answer is structural. The advisory work is quoted, invoiced and delivered as its own piece of work, priced by the hour or by the fixed review — not folded into a device margin. That means “you do not need to replace these yet” is an answer we can afford to give, and it is one we do give. The written specification we produce is yours: it names models, quantities, configurations and the reasoning, and you are free to take it to any other supplier and buy the same list elsewhere. Nothing in it is written to be un-shoppable.

What you get for buying through us instead is the part that is genuinely hard to outsource: the person who wrote the specification is the person who checks the delivery against it. If a model is discontinued mid-order, we tell you and re-specify rather than substituting quietly.

A note on our age. Tentro was incorporated on 23 March 2026. You will find no client logos, case studies, testimonials or “projects delivered” figures on this site, because there is no honest version of them yet. Every number here is a commitment we make at the start of an engagement, not a performance statistic. How we handle that.

§ 01–04 — Registered capabilities

Four filed activities. Read in order, they describe one job.

A company’s SIC codes are the plainest statement it makes about itself, because they are filed rather than marketed. Ours run from the advice through to the dispatch note, and each line below names the code it answers to.

01 SIC 62020 Consultancy

Device and IT consultancy

The work that happens before anything is bought. We look at what you are running now, what it is failing to do, and what a replacement would have to do instead — then write it down as a specification rather than a shopping list.

This covers device selection and compatibility, fleet sizing and refresh cycles, mobile-device policy for staff handsets, review of quotes you have already been given, and end-of-life planning for kit you are retiring.

Produces
  • Written specification, model by model
  • Quantities, configuration and accessories
  • Indicative budget and refresh horizon
  • Yours to take to any supplier
02 SIC 47421 Mobile

Mobile telephones and tablets

Handsets and tablets supplied as new goods for business and personal use — SIM-free and unlocked, so the device and the airtime stay separate decisions. If you are equipping a team, we quote the whole set with matching accessories and a spare allowance rather than unit by unit.

We do not sell network contracts or airtime, and we are not tied to an operator. That is a deliberate limit: it keeps the handset recommendation independent of whoever is billing you monthly.

Typically supplied
  • Business and personal handsets
  • Tablets and their keyboards
  • Cases, screen protection, chargers
  • Matched sets with spares
03 SIC 47789 Specialised retail

Computing devices, peripherals and accessories

The rest of the desk. Laptops and desktops, monitors, docking stations, keyboards and mice, headsets, external storage, cabling, power and small networking hardware — all new goods, supplied against the specification rather than pulled from a catalogue at random.

Where a workstation needs several items to work together — a laptop, a dock, two monitors and the right cable standard — we quote it as one configured set, because that is the level at which the mistakes usually happen.

Typically supplied
  • Laptops, desktops and monitors
  • Docks, input devices, headsets
  • Storage, cabling and power
  • Configured workstation sets

Remote ordering and UK dispatch

Our sales channel, and the reason our whole process is written rather than face-to-face. Orders are agreed by email against an itemised quote, confirmed with an order acknowledgement, and dispatched by tracked courier or post to a UK address.

Because we sell at a distance, consumers ordering from us have the statutory fourteen-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and our terms set out exactly how it works.

How it runs
  • Itemised quote by email
  • Written order acknowledgement
  • Tracked dispatch, UK addresses
  • Statutory rights set out in full

Each of these set out in detail, with what we turn down →

§ 05 — Method

Six stages, and you can stop after any of them.

The sequence is deliberately front-loaded. Most of the value — and all of the mistakes worth avoiding — sit in the first three stages, before money changes hands on hardware.

01

Enquiry

You email us what you are trying to solve — a team growing, a fleet ageing, a quote you want a second opinion on. No form, no call centre, no sales sequence.

Reply within one working day

02

Scoping call

Twenty minutes, free, and genuinely without obligation. We establish what you have, what has to interoperate with it, the budget band, and the date it has to work by.

Free · 20 minutes · No obligation

03

Written specification

The document that does the work: models, quantities, configurations, accessories, the reasoning behind each choice, and the alternatives we rejected. Quoted and invoiced separately from any hardware.

Deliverable · Yours to keep and shop around

04

Itemised quote

Unit prices, quantities, delivery, VAT and lead times, line by line against the specification. If you would rather buy the list elsewhere at this point, that is a perfectly ordinary outcome and we will say so.

No obligation to proceed

05

Order and dispatch

Written order acknowledgement, then supply by tracked courier or post to your UK address. If a specified model becomes unavailable, we come back to you with a re-specification — we do not substitute silently.

Tracked · UK addresses

06

Handover check

We check what arrived against what was specified and send you the reconciliation in writing, together with the manufacturer warranty terms and the serial record for your own asset list.

Written reconciliation · Serial record

§ 06 — How work is bought

Four ways to engage us, priced apart on purpose.

Advice is billed as advice and goods are billed as goods. Nothing on this list is conditional on buying anything from the others.

Scoping callFormat A
Twenty minutes on the phone or a video call to work out whether there is anything worth doing, and whether we are the right people to do it. Often ends with a pointer to somewhere else.
Free
No obligation
Specification reviewFormat B
A fixed piece of advisory work producing the written specification: what to buy, how many, in what configuration, and why. Includes reviewing quotes you already hold.
Fixed fee
Quoted in advance
Supply against specificationFormat C
Devices, peripherals and accessories supplied to an agreed itemised quote, dispatched across the UK, reconciled against the specification on arrival.
Per itemised quote
Unit prices shown
Standing advisoryFormat D
A named point of contact for device questions as they come up over a period — refresh timing, compatibility checks, replacement of failed units — without a retainer on hardware volume.
Hourly
Billed as used

§ 07 — Written commitments

Four promises, made at the start rather than measured at the end.

1 day Reply time

Every enquiry to our published address gets a human reply within one working day, even if the reply is that we are not the right supplier.

20 min Scoping call

Free, without obligation, and not a sales call. If the answer is that you should keep what you have, that is what you will hear.

0 hidden Quote lines

Unit prices, quantities, delivery and VAT itemised before you commit. No bundled “solution” pricing that hides what a device actually costs.

14 days Consumer cancellation

Consumers buying at a distance get the statutory fourteen-day cancellation right, set out in plain terms rather than buried.

These are undertakings, not statistics. Tentro was incorporated in March 2026 and has no measured performance history to publish; anywhere a figure appears on this site, it is a commitment of this kind. The transparency note says so in full.

§ 08 — Fit

Worth an email, and worth saving yourself one.

A good fit
  • A small or growing business equipping staff with phones, laptops or a full desk setup for the first time.
  • An owner or office manager holding a supplier quote they cannot independently judge.
  • An organisation with ageing kit that needs a refresh plan with dates and a budget, not an emergency replacement every time something dies.
  • Anyone who wants the specification written down and portable, so the buying decision stays theirs.
  • Individuals buying a considered device — a work laptop, a handset that has to last — who want the reasoning as well as the box.
Not a fit
  • Looking for the cheapest possible unit price with no advice attached — a volume distributor will beat us, and we will tell you so.
  • Needing a device repaired, a screen replaced or data recovered; we supply new goods and do not carry out repairs.
  • Wanting refurbished, used or grey-import stock.
  • Needing an airtime or network contract, or a handset unlocked from another operator.
  • Looking for a 24/7 managed IT helpdesk or bespoke software development — neither is registered activity of ours.

§ 10 — Questions

The ones worth asking before you enquire.

You sell the hardware you recommend. How is that independent?

It is independent because the two are priced apart. The specification is a fixed-fee piece of advisory work, invoiced whether or not you buy anything from us, and it is written so that any other supplier can quote against it. Our incentive to inflate the list is exactly the incentive we removed.

The check on us is simple: take the specification and get two other quotes. We expect you to, and we would rather you did that than took our word for it.

Do you sell mobile contracts or SIM plans?

No. We supply handsets and tablets as goods — SIM-free and unlocked — and we do not sell airtime, network contracts or SIM plans, nor do we take commission from any operator. Keeping the device and the airtime as separate decisions is the point.

Can you repair a device, or recover data from one?

No. Repair, screen replacement and data recovery are not registered activities of ours and we do not offer them. If you ask, we will say so rather than subcontracting it and adding a margin.

Is everything you supply new?

Yes. We supply new goods only. We do not deal in used, refurbished or grey-import stock, and we do not quote against it. Where a specification could be met more cheaply with refurbished equipment, we will tell you that in the written specification — and then point you elsewhere for it.

Where do you deliver?

To addresses in the United Kingdom, by tracked courier or post. We sell at a distance by internet and mail order rather than from a shop counter, which is why the quote, the acknowledgement and the delivery record are all written.

What warranty applies to what you supply?

The manufacturer’s own warranty for the item, passed to you unaltered, together with your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if you are buying as a consumer. We do not sell an extended warranty of our own and we do not present the manufacturer’s as if it were ours. The details are in the terms.

Do I have to buy the advice to buy the hardware?

No, and not the other way round either. If you already know exactly what you want, send the list and we will quote it. If you only want the specification and intend to buy elsewhere, that is a normal engagement and priced as one.

Are you a large team?

No. Tentro is a small, recently incorporated company — one director, Muhammad Shehzad, appointed on incorporation in March 2026. We publish no staff count, no client list and no delivery statistics, because we have no honest ones to publish yet. What we can commit to is on this page, in writing.

Next step

Tell us what has to work, and by when.

One monitored address, a reply within a working day, and a twenty-minute call that costs nothing. If we are the wrong supplier for what you need, you will hear that first.

Enquiries · Quotes · Orders support@tentrotech.pro

Include what you are running now, roughly how many people it has to cover, and the date it has to be working by. That is enough for a useful first reply.
